Description
This is a joint production between me and the incredibly talented ~Ethernity for the 2008 Desktopography exihibtion. Go check it out!: [link]I've been wanting to work with JericΓ³ for a while and have certainly not been disappointed by our first collaboration. I hope it's the first of many more to come :}
Thanks to Pete as well for putting the whole Desktopography project together, it's great to finally be able to take part.
Lots of different resolutions, both widescreen and normal, are available on the Desktopography site itself.

I cannot stop staring at this wonderful picture. Wherever you look there is amazing detail. Still, I cannot figure out how it was done, nor how to emulate the techniques used. This blew my mind. Good work!

Absolutely gorgeous detail! This would have been fun to do! Wish I could get close enough to touch those trees. The out of focus tree in the foreground seems to draw you in more, like, more realistic
Such a mythical world you have created.

Sweet job. But some waterfalls seem to be out of place or not blended well enough. But fantastic concept.

The only real artistic problem I have with it is the depth of focus is unrealistic. The foreground trees that are blurred ought to be sharper, or the background ought to become more blurred. And I don't like the text, simply because I think it's unnecessary, but that's ignorable. Otherwise this is absolutely incredible on almost every level.
