hey guys... needed something to draw so i started from a alchemy sketch and then used a ton of reference from one doug chiang piece from his mechanika book. page 112 - 115 if you're curious.ton of perspective issues... stoopid perspective!

cheers man! i cant say for sure... 3-4 hours on saturday, couple of hours on sunday morning? probably pretty slow for a concept of this nature...
oh and dont let it make you feel lame, just use it as a kick in the pants to get better!

I think I could probably draw something along these lines if I really tried (not trying to insult!), except for what problem - I can never seem to get a decent texture down. That's why I generally stick with cel shading.

well you dont learn anything if you stick to what you know. You might as well push yourself now instead of staying within your comfort zone.
