lol I know this is Pocahontas fanart so this is kind of irrelevant, but I always imagined Alfred having a Native America Mother like Mama Greece or Mama Egypt ;v;
And ASDJFGHWV this is so cute!

Well, I started thinking about it when a friend and I were talking about fanarts and fanfictions of Hetalia that were based on real historical events. I mean, there were people in America before England/France/whoever got there (who didn't have blonde hair or blue eyes) so it stands to reason that America (and Canada, too. I kinda forgot about him for a sec there XD) would have a mother figure like Egypt and Greece. Just my humble opinion

<333333 That movie is a masterpiece. And I love the idea of Pocahontas as a sort of mother figure for young America.

Were you inspired by that one niconico video? It was like this except it was Sacajawea (?) instead of Pocahontas.

Hahahahea! Yeah when it was posted on youtube, everyone on the comments tried to guess who was who and it was Sacajawea, I think.
Pocahontas was more of a blend between America and England at the time, but Sacajawea was the one that led Americans through the--- such and such. (LOL)
They might have been wrong though. :0 &I love Pocahontas <3. Too bad the real one wasn't exactly as inspiring. ):

IRL Pocahontas didn't do much. John Smith's story of Pocahontas saving him wasn't uh validly backed up with any other sources other than John Smith himself. (& he's said another story in another place that is quite similar lol) The biggest thing she really does is marry off with John Rolfe. Idk the reason why they married. I'm guessing it's like a live contract b/w Native Americans and English settlers. Well she dies in the voyage back to N. America after visiting England. ): Nothing much to her in my knowledge. (I didn't exactly do a project about her so I probably missed ALOT of info, but I said what I think is important) She was more of an astonishment for the England than she should be to us.
As for Sacajawea, she helped Americans find their way through North America in what we know of as the Lewis and Clark Expedition. She was even pregnant while they did all of this! LOL, pretty awesome. It helped with mapping certain parts of the newly purchased Louisiana, meeting of other native American tribes, as well finding certain natural resources. She did plenty. Hahahaa~
Sorry, I bored you with that.

Yeah, she's one hardcore mum!
If you remember in the movie.. it was her who told them where the bad guys were headed. LOL (Expedition, get it hurr *shot*)
Aiyah, I'm a weird weird person who started loving history after Hetalia. ;A;
