I wasn't sure if I should post it or not but then I thought I make it. ^^
Yes left/old Sol is cuter but I prefer the new one waaay more!
First of all his feet aren't cut off, the anatomy is better, the coloring and his clothes are more detailed. But what I really like more on the new one is the way I drew it!
I put love in it! When I drew the old one I didn't even have a story for Sol. He was just supposed to be a cute chara I can use as mascot. I didn't even liked him very much because I didn't really have a relation to him but that changed now! >v<
Maybe the new Sol doesn't look as cute as the old one (probably also because I don't want to draw that 'kawaii' anymore which I actually never wanted... I prefer pictures which also have other concerns( idk?XD ) than only looking cute) but now he has a personality, faults, a story and most important I can identify myself with him.
With other words he's more than just a cute... subject. XD
I hope you don't feel spammed with this fast meme now and you don't mind me "ruining" his "kawaiiness" I'm glad I did XD!

Es ist 'ne sehr gute Idee, Sol in dieses Meme zu stecken.
Man merkt deutlich, wie sich dein Stil verΓ€ndert hat, aber auch ganz besonders wie deine Coloration weicher, schΓΆner und realistischer geworden ist. Man sagt ja immer, dass man bei dunklen Stellen mit blau/violett arbeiten soll, hier bei Sols Mantel sieht man ganz genau, wie geil das aussehen kann.
Auch die Haare sehen tausendmal genialer aus als bei der alten Version. Es ist unglaublich, was du in dieser Zeit "mal eben" hingekriegt hast, manche brauchen ein halbes Leben fΓΌr eine solche Verbesserung, du hast nichtmals ein Jahr gebraucht. Ich ziehe meinen Hut vor dir!

Haha den Trick kenn ich von HACCAN und habs (vor allem bei fanarts) des ΓΆfteren verwendet. Und bei Sols Mantel hat das violett gerade so schon gepasst~ *A*
Das auch nur, weil ich mich endlich mal getraut habe mein Lineart aufm gleichen Layer wie den Sketch zu machen. Ich denke nun passt es auch besser zu meinen traditionellen Lines (ansonsten hΓ€tte es wohl immer noch wie links ausgeschaut).
Ja ich muss zugeben ich scheine echt gesegnet zu sein, dass ich mich so schnell verbessere. Ich denke der Trick ist, immer wieder neue Sachen auszuprobieren und sich auch mal was GrΓΆsseres vorzunehmen. Nun bleibt bloss zu hoffen, dass das auch so bleibt. XD

Es ist echt fantastisch - da denkt man "Woah, diese Verbesserung ist toll! So langsam ist sie an einem Punkt angekommen, wo es richtig schwer sein sollte, das noch besser zu machen" und jetzt kommt zwei Jahre spΓ€ter tatsΓ€chlich nochmal so ein geiles Improvement-Meme und WIEDER sieht Sol einfach 100 mal besser aus!
Wenn ich was von 2013 neu zeichnen wΓΌrde, wΓΌrde bis auf ein paar Anatomiedetails und ein bisschen Colo immernoch alles gleich aussehen. Ich werf mich vor dir in den Staub! Teach me, Senpai!

Du musst einfach immer wieder neue Dinge ausprobieren, um vom alten wegzukommen. Ausserdem hilft es auch, seine Umwelt ganz genau zu beobachten. <;
