When you really think about it, those must have been the worst years of Aaravos’s life. He had no one to talk to, no contact with the outside world. All he had was his own thoughts. And compared to our current situation these days, I can feel for him a little. What crime did he commit that landed him in this cruel punishment?! I really hope we get to see his character fleshed out a bit in the following season. Nothing makes me happier than having a well rounded and written villain. The creators of the show said that he was complicated, and I am eager to see those layers peeled back.
