taking advantage of suddenly being able to draw legs just a bit better than before, i decided to compile a ref for Cure. i wanted to add in some expressions, but ... i got lazy. i may do one of these for Vice as well, hmm Oo. It's pretty straightforward i guess, and way better than his first design pichur i did for him.Cure is my original character, designed by me, blahdeblah, you know the drill X3. yes, he IS supposed to have four fingers, being a magi. (magi-nation. all magi with the exception of grega have four fingers. pretty sure nobody else got around that rule, but it's been a long time since ive really investigated it. so yah. *shrug*) <3 Cure. *leans on him*

Yay~ the color version! I still absolutely adore the expression on his face in the right drawing.
And yeah, I'm pretty sure it was just Grega and Gorgle who had five fingers in MN canon (plus Tony Jones, o' course) although it suggests that Gorgle's ancestors were from our world, so presumably there'd be other people out there, either Gorgle's brothers/sisters or uncles/aunts and their families, but nobody official.

thats what i thought ^ ^. actually it sparked a fairly recent dig, when we couldn't remember which magi it was ^ ^. so i guess that's why it came to mind. its a neat thought though, it was always one of those magi-nation mysteries X3

er, well theyre not exactly half-core. a shadow-magi is somebody who isn't naturally a core magi, but was corrupted. generally theyre not good people, except in the case of like.. Yaki i think.

That's what I meant when i referrenced them as "fallen." Because I remember that they could still play cards of their original region as well as Core. BTW, who's Yaki?

i never really knew the rules for playing core, i remember they were a little screwy though, that's for sure. and yaki is a naroom magi, an official character. ^ ^

you do such amazing outfit designs... :envy: you should make a small tutorial for how you draw... just a small one so people don't like copy you and rip you off... but i think it'd be neat to see how you go about coloring your images
