Real quick post!This is the sketch I'm working on for my current Illustration 2 project, which is about text illustration. Mine is more the wiggly-doodly text incorporation kind of text illustration.. but I think it counts, some of the examples we were shown were pretty scrambly o o;.
I wanted to put it up because I really think it's cute, in a demented kind of way. It's pretty scrawly and I'll be amazed if anybody can really see what's going on, but the phrase I'm illustrating is "May you live in interesting times"
Interestingly drawn in open canvas, because my pencil sketches got all stupid and smudgy.. (because i was working too small)

i think if penned darker in some parts and faded in others this will be truely original. like a talisman or pendant maybe lol.
