Description Happy Valentines, again! If some of you remember when I wrote two FNAF grimdark stories last year, you get a veteran discount! But this year I have brought you all something special; A romantic fanfic with no horror elements!

The First Date is a romantic fiction set in my FNAF AU, and it tells of how Mike Schmidt, the future daytime security guard at Freddy's, met his future fiancé, Willow Mistvern in high school, and what happened during their first date as the name implies. Writing it was rather easy, I already knew the storybeat of how these two met, I just had to put way more detail into it and make sure it actually makes sense. Staying loyal to Mike's personality was fairly easy, I do not know how Bones/Rebornica pictured Mike during his teenagehood, so I had to get creative. He is aggressive and angry by nature, so why not make him the loner nobody in the school liked? And Willow, well...you have to read to find out! Oh yea, the story is set in 1997 for those who wonder.

Where can you read the story? I've posted it on my Ask Account, you can click right here to get to the story  right away! If you're not into romantic fluff, you don't have to read it, but if you really want to know how these important characters in my AU met, go right ahead. There's no kissing btw, just heartfelt talking. And I'd really appreciate it if you would leave a comment and/or favorite the story once you've read it, as I want to do more stories in the future if I get inspired to write. ^^

This piece was a last-minute inspiration to be the cover-art for the fic, and it depicts one important scene; The moment where Mike is nervously about to ask Willow out on a date on February 14th. They may look like young adults here already, but no, Mike is 17 and Willow is 15, teenagers just sometimes tend to look like adults in some cases. And I think we all can agree that some teens look the same even when they are young adults, Mike has not changed too much but Willow has. This piece altogether is simple, but it is supposed to be! And heck, it might be relatable to some people who have been nervous when asking out their crushes.
