So, it is finally over. The harsh, cruel year we knew as 2020. And...*sigh*...Thank Scott for that it's finally done.

As we stand on the ashes, among the embers and smoke of the raging fire that was this year, we've come to realize something; We all lost something during this year, and only few gained something from it. All we can do now is to hope for better year, and for our lives to return to normal. I have kept up my hope for months, and I will keep doing so, even tho I am feeling little pessimistic. Maybe the pandemic will finally end during 2021, and everything will be alright, especially now that the vaccine is being given out slowly overtime. But regardless of that, we still have to stay smart, and stay as optimistic as we can. We have truly learned something from 2020, let's not forget what we have learned. So let's all try and be better for the sake of our fragile lives.

Yes, this piece is a lot more somber than what I usually draw, but I do not see much joy in celebrating the new year. Because who knows, it could get worse. It's better to set your expectations lower than normal, that way it is not too shocking or disappointing when things do not turn any better. I will bring out more cheery or funny art in the future, both here on this account, and my Alt Account. Even tho I will draw some dramatic art as well, since I do enjoy taking a dip to the dark stuff, for artistic reasons. Like this piece, right here. But...maybe I'll start doing commissions next year! I have to see about that...but anyways. Happy New Year guys. Here's for another year with plenty of art.
