R/Place came back after over a year, most likely to quell people's outrage with Reddit's choices as of recent. And guess what community I fought for again! That's right, the Brony Faction!

For those who don't know, R/Place was a Reddit-social experiment which gave the Reddit users a huge canvas, and you could draw one pixel on it every 5 minutes. And countless communities and people came together to leave their mark and art on the canvas. But factions, or communities can team up with others to offer help and pixel resources if they get attacked or if they expand or change their design. Last time Place was held on April Fools of 2022, and it came back pretty much out of nowhere this year after being teased by leaks. This was most likely to quell people's anger towards Reddit's changes for the API. But they didn't realize how upset people were, and protest art was prominent. And so was Reddit Admins' censoring! ...And bots. They were almost like a plague.

But yea, I joined the Brony Faction again to keep up our art and joined a Discord server which kept members of the faction up to date. We Bronies and Pegasisters once again stood proud with our generosity and spirit of friendship, staying a peaceful, loyal and kind faction who helped others and never attacked other factions. We weren't gonna sink to the level of griefing streamers who saw Brony-hunting as a game to entertain viewers! But we were griefed 30 times, beating the record of 21 from last year.

This artpiece compiles almost all of the MLP-pixel works that were present on the canvas, alongside few other things this time outside of the faction;
Saluting Rainbow Dash. Our main project returning from 2022, who is def our Place Mascot! She was first residing near the center of the canvas, and stood there for over a day, even fighting off a streamer. But then, a much bigger streamer came and bulldozed the MLP area and placed Perry the Platypus in their place. Reddit themselves asked people to defend Perry, so we could not take back the territory. Luckily, after the canvas expanded for the 4th(I think?) time, she was rebuilt! We had to move her though after a big streamer built a monster above her and we didn't want to block out the art. And she stood in her new place until the end!
Derpy. Our second project who was once again mostly upkept by Russian bronies! Derpy was built next to Dash again, and when the two fell in the streamer attack, she came back alongside Dash when we found a new spot for them. But unlike Dash who had to be moved, Derpy remained on her second spot! She also got a place alongside Mane 6 Portrait art that was placed near center north of the canvas! Speaking of...
Mane 6 Portraits. This was our back-up project that we started building after we lost Dashie and Derpy. We first built Mane 6, but then added Derpy in for good measure. These seven were targets of attacks as expected but managed to stand strong, even getting outfit upgrades two days later!
Trans-Trixie. Like last year, she made a return on the Trans Flag! I drew only her hat this time to save time, but she's levitating the book. She also got few upgrades as the time went on, like new shading, but Trixie was relatively free from major attacks thanks to the Trans Place-community protecting her!
Peeking Starlight. She's representing the peeking ponies we hid all over the canvas like we did in 2022. Starlight was placed below the red beast and german shepherd with butterfly on its nose, and she remained there until the end of the event. She even got friends, like we made Derpy, Twilight, Fluttershy, Octavia, Vinyl, Sunburst, and even some OC ponies.
The book of the story of MLP. This book was once more held by Twilight Sparkle and Sunny Starscout, and like last year, it played an important part on our first spot, but we actually had a plan; Animate the book and show important moments from the show! This project was going on nicely until Dash, Derpy, and the book was destroyed. When we found a new home for them, the book was rebuilt, and the clipshow continued! We managed to finish all the chapters, and the book closed, just like how it did at the end of the very last episode.
Pipbuck. We had Littlepip, the main character from fanfic Fallout Equestria on our canvas, and I drew the Pipbuck she uses to symbolize her! Littlepip was placed on a slightly controversial spot though, she was above Trans Trixie on a territory that belonged to a very small but very stubborn community who didn't like her. They constantly tried to place red rings on Littlepip, but despite the vandalism, she stood mostly unscathed!
Bluey. The Bluey fans were one of our closest and most wholesome ally, they were not too big but they were more than ready to help us defend against streamer attacks. Their first artwork was right next to us, but when we had to move, it wasn't until Dash and Derpy returned when we were reunited. Just goes to show that kid shows can have very dedicated fans who come together!
Luffy's Hat from One Piece. Rainbow Dash is wearing this because One Piece fandom was another one of our biggest supporters! They helped us during streamer attacks and were ready for action to defend us. Really awesome people who also had three big artworks across the canvas!
P3ace Alliance Emblem. We were part of this alliance and the combined duty for all alliance members was to stay united, and help those who are in danger from invasion, streamer attacks, or anything alike. This Alliance had a lot of fandoms and communities, too many to count actually, but while some people doubted, this alliance was a blessing for us, they gave us help, and we helped them in return.
The Void. As usually, the void is creeping at everything! It's a basic routine on Place.
French and German flags. These flags were freaking omnipresent on the canvas, so I had to include them. French and Germans were kinda mad for claiming so much space, to the point they were and are being memed on.
Grave for the bully streamers. Let us have a five second-long moment of silence for these people who ruined everyone's fun by bulldozing communities and attacking those they didn't like. You're free to speak during it.
And finally, the background is a reference to The Living Tombstone's Discord-remix music video! We built that image on F-Spez-art's K as we were given the permission to create something there, so we went with this very iconic video! Mostly because it is recognizable even for those outside of the fandom.

There were a lot of small things or big things I couldn't include in this artwork because otherwise it would've taken forever to complete(this one took 7 hours and 30 mins). Like Future Twilight Sparkle, Cozy Glow's rook, two characters from MLP Fanworks, Arizona from Them's Fightin' Herds, Sweetie Bot, A ton of allies like Madoka, Monster Hunter Kirin, Genshin Impact, Berserk, and so much more. This event was big, but yea it was chaotic, I wouldn't say it was as big as 2022, because it started very lackluster with limited color palette, and...yea, chaos. It got a bit more even towards the end, but this one will still go down in history for simply existing. And being Reddit's feeble attempt to make their site successful again. Didn't stop people hating the Reddit staff!
