How do you think gravity falls season 2 will end ? Bill said something like "let's see which pines will survive". But now the trailer says " they will make a great sacrifice". So will only one oft them die? But who? I'd say Stan or Ford because there are so many clues leading to Stans dead, but for Gideon and Percifica Stans or Fords death would not be a sacrifice at all...
However, the hidden message in this page said "If he gai ans physical form, all is lost!" so can they even defeat Bill? He himself said in sock opera he's a beeing of pure Energie without any weakness. This page does not seem to list up any weakness...

I have a theory about what Bill Cipher's planning, examining from what is known from episodes of Seasons 1 and 2.
Bill Cipher, being a dream demon, is stuck in the unconscious world. He can't interact with the real world without using a host, and even then he's constrained by the host's limits and couldn't be able to use the full might of his powers. He mentioned missing the physical sensations of pain and whatnot, hinting a great interest in the real world.
Bill has mentioned some 'Darkness' was coming, and the ciphers of episodes where he showed up had mentioned something about the weirdness of Gravity Falls would soon 'become the norm'. Maybe he's trying to bring that forth or at least do something with it.
He and the Author were friends, or at least he PRETENDED to be the Author's friend to manipulate him to help out in whatever the demon's scheming to do. The Author had nothing but good things to say about him, but then pass a certain point they had a falling out and he mentioned to not trust Bill, summon Bill and avoid Bill at absolutely any cost, so this falling out must concern something that both were involve in, something VERY big.
We know that the Author, and possibly with Stanford Pines and Fiddleford Hadron McGucket, had been working on a Universe Portal which they think would greatly benefit Humanity, but something went horribly wrong, so horribly wrong in fact that the Author buried his journals and vanished without a trace, while McGucket blasted himself with an amnesia device to the point he became a mad and senile old man. What could had been that thing that went wrong?
Hypothesis: Bill Cipher manipulated the Author, Stan and McGucket to initiate the Universe Portal project, or maybe it was entirely the Author, Stan and McGucket's own grand scheme but Bill Cipher took noticed and decide to take advantage of it. Maybe he fed information and knowledge whenever the guys hit a snag in putting the Universe Portal together, which explains the 'good' relationship between Bill and the Author right up, until the point when he betrays them.
Why, you ask? I think Bill Cipher was trying to use the Universe Portal to bridge dimensions and TRULY MANIFEST HIMSELF INTO THE PHYSICAL WORLD. That was what went wrong, or at least contributed to what went wrong, with the Universe Portal project; Bill want to wreck havoc in the real world, and given it's Bill, the human characters were barely able to stop him and send him back to whence it came.
The horror that resulted was enough to cause the Author shut down the Universe Portal, stopped all his research in Gravity Falls entirely and then vanish; McGucket founded the Society of the Blind Eye to 'help' himself and others forget everything wrong with Gravity Falls. Only Stan Pines refused to move on from the project and try to reactivate it, for reasons that we can only at the moment guess at.
Now I have a really bad feeling about what's coming...
