First impressions of Lark sway wildly between 'helpful Mom' and 'wild mountain lady'. On one hand, she'll give you good homecooked food and life advice; on the other she's often loud and overbearing- caked in dirt, feed and wielding a variety of tools with alarming strength. Frequently and invertedly being impolite in her bluntly honest observations of the world and the situations around her. More often than not, she's viewed as the 'group Mom', often stepping up to care for others and keep others safe; but rarely letting others do the same for her.

History:
Lark was born to secluded ranchers in rural Unova, where she worked and lived on that ranch until her twenties. She was born the seventh of nine kids. Third youngest, the least book smart but the most rambunctious.
She was born missing most of her left arm, something that never slowed her down, even if she had to do things differently; she was actively given the freedom and tools to explore and find what worked best. A prosthetic was explored multiple times during her childhood, but her dislike for it remained unchanged.
"Hypochondroplasia" was a term that entered her lexicon at a young age. A mild form of dwarfism, though she hardly thinks of herself as anything except 'kind of short'.

School was a struggle for Lark, finding it hard to keep her mind on words and numbers when she'd rather work on things hands on, squeaking by and barely passing. She excelled with cooking, caring for pokemon and axe work. The older she got though, the more she saw her siblings move away. Throughout her 20's, she became the sole caretaker of her aging parents' ranch, and the 'bestest awesomest auntie' to her nieces and nephews whenever they needed watching.

By 30, Lark's parents had decided to sell their Ranch in favor of living out retirement on the coast.
From here, Lark hopped around. Travelling around in an SUV, friend to friend; farm to farm. Learning, lending her skills and labor in exchange for beds while trying to decide on where to settle. She met some lifelong friends, and a (hopefully) lifelong partner (Acer - Space-CAT-Det).

Moving to Harthaven felt like the right next step to Lark. A new place, a new life; a good place to start her own Ranch and be part of a community.
