When it comes to accepting differences and still staying together as a large tight knit family, the Pikmin are amazing. These plant-animal fusions come in a variety of different types, each with their own strengths, but while they are aware of this, they also know that at the end of the day when the sun sets, they are all still Pikmin. No matter if their flower is white or lavender, no matter if their eyes are normal or compound, and no matter if they’re big or small, they know that they are still the adorable little plant animal creatures that we have come to love. Yes, they come from different Onions. In fact, the white and purple Pikmin do not even have any Onions, as they were believed to have been tragically wiped out during the creatures’ age of darkness. No matter where they are from, though, when the sun rises every morning, they all come out and greet one another before working hard together. Red, yellow, blue, purple, white, rock, and winged Pikmin all join forces and make sure no one is left behind in conquering the planet and flourishing en masse. Red Pikmin eliminate any sources of fire that they can with their heat resistance, and their might is extra helpful in a pinch. Yellow Pikmin defuse any electrical outlets and make sure no one else gets fried, and they can dig out even the most stubbornly buried objects with ease. Blue Pikmin explore underwater and fish out whatever’s needed from there, even finding alternate passageways for their brethren if able. Purple Pikmin clobber the toughest of foes, such as the spectral Waterwraith, and aren’t put off by Mittite odors. White Pikmin snuff out any poison around them, and are quick to action. Rock Pikmin will clear the way when it comes to burly enemies that specialize in smashing and stabbing, and will do the same with crystal, unfazed by such brute strength. And Winged Pikmin can uproot stubborn weeds and take to the skies to fight any foes camping from above. Together, they make a stellar team and family. We must try to be like them. We cannot bicker in light of our differences, but instead team up with one another and fight the true evil, which is prejudice. If we link together as a titanic family, then there is nothing we cannot do! The Pikmin have already proven that.
