Description
This is one of the Pages that I am doing for the Squeek and Shred story..I was going to go for an all pencilized art ( I was inspired by Adam Warren's Empowered style). I was planning on doing small stories of the characters cause I am not really into doing a longated story. Some stories will have connections to others, but no big long story of the characters will be created just yet.Wadayathink of the page?

This is looking fantastically impressive! I love this kind of shaded pencil style in comics (you don't see it often nowadays, sadly), and it's always fun to see Shred dishing out a good biffing. Is this what he does when he's not working at the Brickhouse?

I think that's funny that Rocksteady just did the J-O-B. Shred doesn't even look winded!
I like the fact that the stripes on the ref's shirt match up pretty well, from panel to panel. With the exception of the center stripe in the last panel, that is. But that could easily be explained by the ref's stromach moving/stretching the shirt.

It looks really good, but when you use special comic paper and don't want the help lines showing up in the real page, turn the paper upside down on a glass board with a lamp underneath and just draw inside the comic paper lines.

Great work. but since it's Shred, i would think that his gi would have the sleeves torn, kinda like Ken or Ryu from Street Fighter. seems more his style, anyways, keep it up!

I've seen plenty of manga that were done entirely in pencil. I personally like the sketchy style.

Nicely done! You've got the Empowered pencil coloring down really well, and if it's one thing you excel at it's creating a particular sense given a limited amount of space (the hallmark of a great comic artist) The only suggestion I would have would be perhaps darkening in the background a little more, as with the pencil colored style it gives the figures a little bit more focus. Aside from that great work so far, incredibly fluid!

I love your work. So few people do good anthro these days. And you have a refreshing amount of clean material as well, instead of just plain smut. Though I do appreciate your works that fall into that category too.
The entire page is well done, but I must say that the walrus(?) referee is hilarious. And Shred's look at the end is perfect.
