This is amazing! I love the expressions on Altair and Malik's faces. They look tired and maybe even longing to me. XDD But the way you posed them is perfect and the shading and lighting is just freaking amazing! 
And you do have a point about how they were still quite young when they took over the Order. I never thought of that before...X3Β
