I wanted non-were Volatikai to have something similar but not as intense as transforming into something. xD haha.
They are still pretty different, however.

I'm using Quill and Pierce as my examples. lol

First note: iris color states the same as being normal. Non-were's don't suddenly get blue eyes if going into this state. xD

Instinctive state: This is for non-were's including females when an intense situation is happening that requires a lot of adrenaline. Can be while hunting, being protective, in danger, and various other strong reasons.
The Volatikai is taken over by pure instincts so even if they are a very kind "person" in reality, this can change that in an instant... and can last between a few seconds and however long it's needed. They'll do things they'll not normally do just to keep themselves safe.
In Quill's case, he's being protective here and about to attack and kill. Normally he'd not try to kill anything as he's against that. He personally hates when this happens, though luckily it's rare for him. They are conscience but it's rather hard to control it... HOWEVER, they CAN control it if they practice! It's easier compared to a Volatikai controlling their were form!

The eyes are similar to the were form in that they have a black sclera. The pupils stay black, however.

Transforming/Were form: The picture shown is of Pierce starting to transform. The eyes are the first thing to change, where the pupil turns yellow and glows while they also have black sclera.

So it's rather easy to tell from their eyes alone if they have a were form or not.

Also, when the eyes change while transforming, the brain has already switched off and the smaller brain has "turned on", so for a brief moment the were form could actually talk! hehe yes.

Now I just have to find out how to put the new info about instinctive states onto my site. xD
