Dochi is a Japanese Yokai monster folklore in Gifu Prefecture.When a local lord was walking around a lake, Dochi appeared and bit the lord's foot. The lord was going to kill it, but decided not to and cut Dochi's jaw instead. Since then, every soft shell turtle in this area has no jaw.
