Poor, poor Bowser...Princess Daisy maybe a tomboy, but jeez, don't tell her to her face!! o_O
Some lessons must be learned the hard way indeed... XD
This idea was originally intended for one of 's art jams - but since I'm very bad at meeting deadlines for those things with all the pictures running around in my nuggin', I'm like two weeks too late for this one! o_O
But the idea was good for a chuckle and it held on to the back of my head, so I decided to do it anyway just for some laughs.
Still a little bugged 'cause the punch didn't came out as good as I wanted it to be... Oh well.

We used the term "Nintendo Tapes" here in Califronia as well oddly enough. Though to be fair it was likely because our parents coined the term, what with most of them growing up in Louisiana and all.
Hell I think some people referred to Famicom and Super Famicom (the Japanese NES and SNES respectively) cartridges as "Cassettes", how oddly similar.

Interesting- because.. well... I worked in commerical radio in Central PA and... we had a show called Tradio where people would call in and try and sell boxes of "Nintendo Tapes"...
"We's gots a shoebox of dem dere Nintendo tapes. Yinz com gets dem for 5 bucks, yinz call 555-2468."
And we would sit in the studio.. and well, laugh with tears in our eyes at these characters....
And to pronounce the word correctly in Yinzer, you put an umlaut over the o in Nintendo and you come close.

How can you tell? Yoichi Kotabe doesn't exactly draw "Koopa Junk" y'know ^_^. Then again I doubt Miyamoto and Tezuka wanted to be THAT specific...

Wow I feel the fool.
I just took a better look at the picture, damn my glasses, and I notice the actual point of impact.
I intially thought That Koopa was getting kneed in the "Koopa Junk", but now I see that he's actually getting punched in the stomach.
Still funny though.
