I can tell he's a dragon because worms in reality, they don't slither upwards. And he's not a snake either because snakes strike quicker and they always stick their tongues out back and forth. I know he's a dragon. Because dragons have those spikey backs and plates too. Some dragons have wings and sometimes they don't. Some dragons have different elemental theme to themselves. There's Water, Earth, Fire, Air, Ice, Stone and such. And they come in many different shapes and sizes. And most dragons have those long neck to reach higher heights and to look behind themselves from predators and prey. And you know I was right all along!
