Description I forgot I did this.

And I actually have a separate one to upload after the next WS page is complete.

I don't really show how I do may artwork. I like the magic of Wolf Song pages and other completed pieces and so I kinda keep that stuff to myself. But sometimes, I feel like it's fun to show you all how I go about things !

Each one of my drawings have 3-10 separate layers depending upon complexity. So if you've ever wondered why WS pages take so long, that's because each panel has been drawn at least 3 times @_@!

Step one is the "HNNNEDG WTF IS THAT SHIT?!" step. All my drawings start like this. I don't really know how to explain it. I guess it's the skeleton model? It creates the base for every character I draw. Coal, Articus, Tanterus, even wolf Frollo have a certain scribbly base and all of them are different.

Step two is the fleshing and cleanup, adding in the major parts of the character from that base model. It's my initial concept phase, allowing me to see the character better.

Step three is the final concept. This is how most of my conceptual pieces turn out. It has the idea in it to where you can see the character, but the clean-up, line art, expression and anatomical corrections really lack. It's just to make the idea for future drawings.

And finally we have the finished line work prior to inking and coloring. This is where I become extremely anal retentive, fixing any problems with the drawing at all until I'm satisfied with the work :3!

This however, is only one of 2 drawing processes I have. For much more complex poses and perspectives I have a different method of approaching the drawings. This is called the Jynx Method, where my soft mount wolf comes into play.
