By EVA do you mean Evangelion? Sorry, but there is a show called that with big mechas a lot like this called EVAs.
I love the style, and it's expression. I think you did a very great job and I hope to see more. ^^

Yup evangelion "Fanart". Boy it's been something like 10 years more since first shock. Wuz a bit frustrated by the new meka design of the last movie ... So I had to play Ikuto Yamashita style ^^

You bet, I'll be sure to watch them all! Well, not the episodes. They are rebuilding the episodes into dramatic movies, 4 of them. I have the first one, the second should come out soon.

Watch them all episodes, this isn't a cult movie all over japan out of nothing. This is really a great serie, one of the very few. The two first redone movies were OK, I saw the last that gat out this year and... well, animation is beautifull, more money involved I guess, and I really wait forward for the next one, but honestly, in term of power, it's really nothing compared to the original episodes.

I'll try to watch all of the episodes. From I have read, the movies are the exact thing as the episodes, just redone. So I don't see what difference it makes, but okay.
How did you see them all? The second one hasn't even come out in America yet? Since you are in France, did you get them early, or did you get them from Japan?

Yup it looks long, but well, ... I don't know. If you can rent them ... Well, maybe a question of taste too? Yes, the redone movies are pretty close to the full saga, and are great. Just, one new episode must be something like 4 from the original, with cut scenes to make it larger audience, witch is sad in my fan eyes, but somehow more power in animation because of more effects, more modern technics and so on...(3d, more afx like postprod and so on), wich is good in the efficiency... but... Maybe I'm just a fan boy hun? ^^ Some images from the original... man! It's Art in my eyes. Some plates are so well composed, so well keyed, so strong and perfect drawings O_o , colors are so modern, so particular and unique... Some scene are so cult, unforgettable! Maybe too hardcore for young public? XD
But again, I'm a kind of a fan boy, I'm biased ^^
In France full epidodes didn't get large audience way back. DVD started (by a Belgium production if I remember correct), but it took too long. I finally gat them in japanese ^^
OK I must stop typing. Now.
Do as you feel, new movies are great. If you have time and occasion, try the real ones. + the movie that gives an alternative ending. (the second movies that went out, I don't remember the name. Rebirth, then Death of evangelion. I think it is this one. With Eva series. Great episode too). In 2007 new movie that resume the start, this year the start/middle, but looks like stoupid fans re-wrote some parts and decided of some more fun scenes... I'm not convinced 100% ....

Nope, Eva designs are eva designs. Always the best.
Just like Asuka's new outfit: sweet otaku cuty design, but I think it's absolutly out of the serie.
But I respect new designers work hun. ^^

Yeah, I agree, that new eva, the green one, doesnt seem as up to pare. And also, the evas are still the best, but now they are to fat to me, and i dont like how the glow, or howl either. lol Also, original Asuka is still the best...

zb sculpt ? pitain lé sympa ton eva ! parcontre j'aurais insisté sur les cavité ( ao ou cavity map )

Yup Zb. C4d pour le base mesh, Zbroush pour le "fun", puis GoZ vers c4d pour le SPD. Rendu AR3. 3mn an best AA
Et avec un ptit Rigging en prime hitsoire de le poser ^^
Testé de l'AO, et retiré finalement. Plus jolie/graphique mais moins naturel, ça me bouchait trop de zones.
Ça serait cool qu'ils améliorent les outils de retopo aussi dans zbrush !

ué y'a du potentiel mal exploité en retopo, ptet pour la v4... mais c'ets dejà enorme ce qu'on peu sortir actuellement oO
