With a surge of excitement, Blake reached out to grasp the jar, his fingers tingling with anticipation.
But before he could fully grasp the jar, Zwei, sensing danger, leaped forward with a warning bark. Startled, Blake hesitated for a moment, but it was too late. In a flash of movement, Zwei lunged forward and sank his teeth into Blake's outstretched hand, a desperate attempt to prevent him from making a grave mistake.
