I don't know why, but Sith lords with Masks are cool! Adds a bit of mystery to their characters!

So for those who don't know, Revan was a Sith Lord and the namesake of the Sith Eternal army's 3rd Legion. Since the history of the Sith was kept hidden from the galaxy, only Sith cultists knew the significance of Revan's name. Revan was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity in BioWare and LucasArts's 2003 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. There, Revan was the playable character of the game, with his physical characteristics and gender being customizable by the player. Revan's male gender was then confirmed in The New Essential Chronology and his appearance in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

In Legends, Revan was a Jedi who served in the Mandalorian Wars as the Supreme Commander of Jedi and Galactic Republic forces and fell to the dark side of the Force. He was reborn as Darth Revan and, along with his Padawan-turned-Sith apprentice Darth Malak, wreaked havoc on the Republic. Eventually, Revan was captured by a Jedi strike team and was severely injured in the battle. Taking advantage of this, the Jedi Order wiped Revan's memory and gave him a new identity.

Subsequently, Revan appeared in many other Legends works including Star Wars: The Old Republic,[7] Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic comics,[8] and in written media such as Knight Errant.

So there's a bit of history behind Darth Revan, one of my favorite characters in Star Wars!
