Description
I wanted to figure out how to draw his face from some different angles and with some different expressions in order to better understand him as a character.
I knew how he looked from a side profile, but I’d never really drawn him facing the viewer due to an uncertainty with his front-facing profile. I’m happy to say that after some thinking on the matter, I realized a real-life reference I could use for Emile was a dolphin! 
Creative ideas call for creative solutions, and I’m happy to say that I feel I really got a grasp of Emile with this little project!
