History
Cryo Angler was designed to operate in cold temperatures, which made him a natural fit for 13th Polar Unit. However, he grew bored of working at the South Pole with little to do. This made it easy for Storm King to sway him to his side; he saw his chance to return to civilization and destroyed his own commander, escaping to join Strom King and the Storm Maverick army.

As part of Storm King's forces, planned to use avalanches to crush Yakyakistan near mountains under tons of snow, and X, Zero and Mane six had to stop him. If the player defeats him before Defeat Toxic Stag Beetle, the Toxic in the latter's stage will be frozen, allowing X, Zero and Mane six to walk over it with impunity.

The Hunters and Mane six confronted him at his Central White crystal Mount Base and destroyed him.

Cryo Angler reappears in the first stage of Storm King's Castle as an obstacle to X, Zero and Mane six.

Shotgun Ice (ショットガンアイス)
Cryo Angler four chunks of ice. Some travel straight through the air, others slide along the floor. This is the Special Weapon that X, Zero and Mane six acquires by defeating him.

Blizzard (吹雪)
Cryo Angler jumps to pull the hook on the ceiling, causing a blizzard. The blizzard pushes the player and any ice sculptures, which shatter on walls. He can also jump without grabbing the hook, attempting to land on the player.
