I recently took a commission for a tattoo design. This guy asked me to draw one from a photograph of a stone cross headstone taken in Ireland over sixty years ago. It was from his family’s cemetery. Apparently the church fell apart and the cemetery was moved. Unfortunately many of the headstones were destroyed and all he had was the photo.
The design made him happy and he had it inked on his back.
I love how people always have great stories for their tattoos.
