Rarity has put on a lot of baby fat, which gives her a somewhat filly-like appearance. She'll probably look like her old self about six months after the baby is born. Chasing a little kirin around is going to burn the calories faster than any workout program.

Well the Two becoming one flesh not only means the cuddles but also that fact that what makes up the two of them becomes one flesh in their children.
I'm sure that when they truly love each other their traits get passed on to their children. Now as for what traits get passed on is determined by the Creator's hand so you can be sure that through His wonderful knitting, beauty, elegance, purpose and power will be what results from Spike and Rarity's marriage.
No offense to Siansaar, but I tend to think that their children probably would inherit both Spike's fire breath/powers/fireproof scales and Rarities Horn and powers.
The reason for this is that when you have two parents with different attributes that are positive, you get a hybrid. A child that has better traits than either of his/her parents did but is still visibly similar to their parents.
I don't know, just a thought...

I'm too busy thinking about the biological implications to find this adorable. I ended up on a wikipedia trawl because I couldn't find the exact taxonomical words to describe how impossible this is.
I'm not going to actually rant about how impossible it is for a reptile and a mammal to create viable offspring together, because it's a unicorn and a dragon in a magical land, and Rarity's a marshmallow, not a mammal.
For the sake of sanity, I'm still going to offer the alternate hypothesis that it's not biologically Spike's and there's a donor involved.
