Take a look, take a gander,babies & children, see more than adults,
they just lack the understanding of "metaphor",
they just know, they know they can see through their hands.

LOL, I can totally see the Pale Man reference here (Pan's Labyrinth) It's a violent movie, but it really is quite ingenious and visually stunning, I'd recommend it. Definitely not for a kid ,though. Ironically, the Pale Man is also called the Child Eater.
Anyway, onto more important things...
Lovely shot! The Sepia tone really works well here. I love those little hands, so expressive! The larger hands next to him also give us a good indication of scale, he's so tiny!
