Okay, I'm going to be quick on this....

Here we go: the man you see in the gas mask (the pic that's not painted yet), is an fallen angel name Lexion or "Lex" for short as he use to be once upon the heavens been along side God and his right hand man, until, he had committed a sin which involved the death of his wife and so and was resulted into judgment before his Lord. As he already knew, God had casted him down into the depth of hell, as he enter, the wings he once had were a snowy white but are now turned to ashes of black as he enters the open gates of hell--where Lucifer walks upon him and only, just this once, shows a little sign of pity to spare him, although he tortures him for entireties and making him do his dirty work in the depths of hell, but only if he agrees to be his hell-spawn, or hellhound to say the least, to hunt down some of the demons and other evil souls that had manage to escape from his hell, yet, at the same time asking his Lord for repentance and wishing to be by his side once again, As said, God gives him another chance but only if he can save other humans souls and lives from the demons that had escaped hell (although God doesn't to much trust Lucifer for using one of his angels before, he knew Lexion was different from others), and bring them back to Lucifer. With that said, Lexion has rising on earth (probably the year; 1799, think of sleepy hollow with Ichabod Crane at that time) to walk among the shadows of the people to hunt down the lost souls and the corrupted ones. As he doing this, he comes across Adyvon, a mysterious plague doctor whose been around for the past 14th century-and now walks among the people with him.

Long story short: they both had a strong dislike for each other, but works well with the other as they can tolerate each other while looking for the lost souls that needs to be help and put to rest and sending the ones corrupted back to hell.

And this was an actual art project I had done in high school for a contest.
