How do you get these fractures?
This is interesting. I like the smoke effect and it reminds me slightly of watching smoke from a cigerette just as you start to day dream. From the bottom of the picture it starts as smoke but as you follow it upwards it changes and shapes appear. I see a bird, a swan maybe. But the light makes it seem like a pheonix. Or is it a person with the wings of a swallow flying past the sun when the clouds are like mist? It all depends how long it lasts.
The brighter colours behind the smoke at the base of the picture are a nice touch and it makes a change that the focus of the picture isn't in the centre where most of artists place them. I also like the fact that the light isn't coming from the orange ball but from the smoke itself. As if the light wishes to keep the colour in one place and is failing. Not really sure what else I could say about this except maybe the corners of the picture seem a bit barron but if they werne't they would probaby confuse the picture.
