Description
After the Frankenstein piece I have been in the mood to draw a two headed werewolf and a scantily clad woman. This was a quick piece, around 2-3 hours total, so the coloring is a little sloppy but I kind of liked how it came out.

It should be the law that al pictures must feature scantily clad girls with guns if the are all this good!

very, very cool. one thing, however i would have to critisize negatively is the fact that this is way too dark. granted im sure that is what youwere going for, but you cant tell what is going on. is it two warewolves or one two headed warewolf? is the girl holding a gun? a cross? a black rubber penis? i cant tell. i would sure love to see her thwart off two or one two headed warewolf with a black rubber penis. that you could put on a shirt. oh and is that a leg in the left bottom corner?
oh, i have a friend who has your zombie shirt and i asked him but he hasnt the slightest clue who you are. oh well, not all can be one. tis a shame, a low down dirty shame.
nice work though man, one question. how did you color this. i would love to know how to color like that.
good day

Try adjusting the contrast on your monitor. Mine is calibrated for printing and it looks fine, same with the printers, same with the majority of people here, but yes it is intednded to be dark. But maybe a slightly darker monitor turns it all black.
I use photoshop to color.

oh yeah! I've always envied people who could draw good werewolves! And this one even has two heads! Double wow!
I like the "sloppy" colours as well, it gives the piece a foggy, dense-aired feeling that really suits it.
The onely thing I don't completely like is the chewed up arm sticking up from the rubble. It seems like something left over from the sketch, that didn't make it completely into the final piece. There's just something a little too hasty about it.
But this is otherwise super cool!

I love the vitage setting here, and 2-3 hours?!?!?!? I've only just picked up this whole digi-coloring thing and it takes me DAYS.... T_T maybe I just need a tablet... I use mouse...

sideshowmonkey In reply to Steelpengu [2005-11-19 10:27:33 +0000 UTC]
I used to use the mouse for everything up until a couple weeks ago when I bought a Wacom. I always hated those things because I draw left handed but color with the mouse with my right hand, so it made a weird transition to go to the tablet. But this piece and the Frankenstein piece were done with the wacom and a mouse both.
