So this just something I did for fun but I honestly enjoyed it 
Nick Tatopoulos - Miki Saegusa (Heisei Godzilla series)

Well yes he is. He hatched, imprinted on Miki (including telepathically as a nod to Heisei) and he views her as his mother. I know I could have used Asuza Gojo for that role yes but Miki just worked better in my opinion

Not really, because that way, Ghidorah's reveal would be unexpected and it could establish him as something not exactly of nature.

Yep. As for Ghidorah, have it be we have no idea who he really is... until it's too late and he has to blow his cover on who he REALLY is.
