And it's the first picture ive seen that uses midna's shorter, orange and yellow-tipped ponytail. Everywhere else uses the masive orange and blue one.
What are the origins of the orange and blue ponytail anyway? was it what she was going to look like before they changed it or something? Or is it what she ACTUALY looks like only in japan or america or something. Cos' over here in britain she has a short orange and yellow ponytail.

The only time I've ever seen the orange and blue ponytail is in screenshots and fanart. But maybe you're right about the country thing. I'm from Australia and I know that games have sometimes been changed before being released here.
Though, one thing I don't get is that the version in America has the orange and yellow ponytail also.

Midna's blue/red hair was prerelease/beta. It was changed to red/yellow before release.
I think. I've seen an early TP trailer with Midna's blue/red hair and a recent one with her red/yellow.
