Sometimes she would gaze upward at the green and blue shapes above the water's surface. The ocean would carry her. The Merfolk would listen to the cold old song of the sea. Sometimes she could pretend to not taste the black bile or the moans of the dying waters.The old song. Before the two-legs started their war on the seas.
