A core memory!

My submission for NATG XI: Day 18! Today's prompt was "Draw a pony experiencing your most cherished memory / Draw a pony living life to the fullest." So here's Pinkie Pie cherishing a new core memory from Inside Out! Originally I was thinking of trying to draw a ponified Joy or something, but then I thought "nah" xD I feel like it probably would've been too much effort to figure out, plus I felt like drawing Pinkie instead, so I did I felt like she'd be the most likely to go glassy-eyed enamored over a core memory orb, so I had to draw that xD

Decided to thrown in a bit of soft shading to add to the warm glowing effect of the memory orb! I feel like it came out alright, but it has been quite a long time since I last did some soft shading, haha. So I was less confident with it than I have been in the past. I do love how the glow-y effect of the orb on Pinkie came out itself, though. And the reflection in her eyes. Adds to the whole "glassy-eyed" feel well, I think So yeah, more Ponk! I feel like she's my go-to for some reason pretty frequently when I'm not sure what I'm going to draw yet, or I start drawing late in the day, or I just have no idea at all xD I think it's because Pinkie just lends herself to lots of ideas? Like there's so much you can do with this joyful pink pony! So I think she helps with idea generation perhaps, haha.
