That's not what that meant Scootaloo! Ah, well, she seems to be enjoying herself.

My submission for NATG IX: Day 21! And so begins the first of our last ten days! Today's prompt was "Draw a refreshed pony / Draw a pony on holiday." And here Scootaloo is a pony on Holiday, her Aunty Holiday, heheh Originally for this prompt I was thinking along the lines of something to do with "refresh," like refreshing a page, maybe Sig refreshing EqD contantly for a new post. But I'd already done a "Sig at computer"-type drawing and I wasn't really sure I was feeling drawing something too similar to something else I'd done. Then all of a sudden this crossed my mind, and I instantly knew I had to do it! xD Such a great pun; I'm surprised it didn't occur to me earlier, 'cause I'm certain we'll see more drawings like this

Plus! It game me an excuse to draw one of the Aunties from The Last Crusade! Too bad I didn't get to draw both of them, but boy, this drawing was already quite the hoof-full already Took me a fair while to draw. But yeah, it was an excellent episode and there was definitely a lot to love in it, but, and I don't think I'm alone in this, I do think the Aunties were actually my favourite part of the whole thing Their designs are super cute, they were really interesting and realistic characters and they were just awesome characters with how supportive of Scootaloo they were and such. Really enjoyed those two; I don't know how likely it is, but I definitely wouldn't complain if we got to see a bit more of them

And yeah, I think I'm mostly pretty happy with this drawing. It isn't perfect, or more I beleive I could've done better if I had the time. Holiday has a bit of a different shape that I found a bit tricky to capture and I had a small bit of difficult only drawing the top half of Scootaloo and in that pose, but it came out how it did and I just like this idea and this pun and it comes across well still, so that's all that matters And I was really worried for the complexities of Auntie Holiday's mane xD But by the same hoof I knew I'd enjoy it, 'cause she actually has a really lovely and pretty mane that was quite fun to draw. Also, I totally didn't fully realise she has a little scarf! Scarves are great, and it's adorable.
