before the Fall of the Republic, the UT-TE or Unstable Terrain Tactical Enforcer was a failed Project that Led to the UT-AT. however: some Republic Hardliners managed to Solve the Problem of the Failures with the Vehicle especially with Excess Power problems, and decided to Send the Vehicle to the CIS which led to the Vehicle's Mass Production. all Contact with the Republic Hardliners were Lost two days after the Vehicle Arrived, and it's believed that the Republic Hardliners were Wiped out by the Empire.
