Jetilind (Jet + Curculio + Sand) is based on the acorn weevil, a small insect that uses its needle-like mouth (rostrum) to pierce plants. The color of an acorn weevil combined with the hood made it look perfect for the desert and combining it with a sand blaster makes sense given the shape of its head.
