I was very sorry to hear about Qinni's death a few days ago. This artist's work was big around Deviantart when I first joined almost 10 years ago and has no doubt influenced my own work. (That animation with the glowing fish completely blew my mind when she posted it.)
I find it difficult to create art just when I have a cold but somehow she managed to keep creating through her heart surgeries and then chemo. This is so inspiring and I've been reflecting on it all week.
As much as I want to say RIP I cannot- because I'm Buddhist. The journey of one's consciousness doesn't end at death, though the physical life of Qing Han has sadly ended.
May the fear of death be gone; may you shine and be closer to truth now.
