Description
Page 1 of a Simpson's fanfic comic I did way back in 2004.A Little History
I basically wanted to write a Simpson's episode and get it out of my system. I had attempted it years prior to this, but it was to put it blunt, crap. I drew it out in paint, over the course of a few months back in 2002, until finally giving up on it. 2 Years later, I decided I would finish the comic, but I would do it in Macromedia Flash, which was a new program I had discovered at the time. Slowly learning the software, I created backgrounds, character models, and a means of chopping it all up and putting each frame in the comic strip media. When it became painfully clear that the quality had upped about 110% since using this software and from 2 years of drawing practice, I knew that the new flash stuff would not match with the old paint stuff, and decided that it would just be easier to write a new script for a different story.
I more or less wrote the script while creating the strip, with my friend adding the odd joke here and there. This was the way I had always done things up until then. For some reason I wanted to push my writing skills so I did it about Lisa, what I would say the hardest Simpson character to write for. After 7 months, and very saw fingers, I was left with this 72 page mess, which was made up of your typical fanfic crap, where a character and ideas that were used once in the show, are brought back to be milked for all they are worth and beyond. I never found a truly good place to shove this up online (I had no idea about Deviant Art back then), and thus it has mainly colleted dust on my hard drive for the last 4 years.
After finishing this I decided I was done with fan comic completely.... Actally that not really 100% true, but that was a cool ending. (To Be Continued)
So here is that mess. The first 25 pages once saw the light of day on some internet artist's websites form, and then the whole thing was briefly put up on the Simpson's No Homers site, until it shortly sank below after a few weeks. For the first time on a place where it will stay, while being crammed up against my much better work*sob*. I give you my wasted 7 months of my life, my Simpson's fan fic comic. I love it, you'll love it. It has Paint and garfield, what more could you want?
If you read all this, you are my hero.

Bart's questions to Homer sounds like the intro to a Twilight Zone episode.

Thank you
^ Above hidden one was me, I screwed up and you can't edit. I'm still a Deviant art newbie.
I edited description a bit because I come across a bit too negative, my comments are sometimes dripping with sarcasm which doesn't always come across well in print. I must really read this comic again, I'm sure its been at least a year since I looked at it. I'm really happy to see people enjoying it after all these years of doing nothing with it.
I've taken note of what vandonovan said in my blog thing, and am spreading this out by posting 10 pages a day, which is certainly easier on my part. Running a few pages short today because I have to do a few edits on the next page and dig out the old files. But I'll make up by posting 2 extra tomorrow.
