(just casually getting all my drawing ideas out before inktober starts or i forget )

so i wanted to try and draw out some sort of scene where Selene and Helios were about to battle it out behind Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright's backs, and everytime i look at this image i think of an rp-ish story that i did with my friends and i introduced Helios to that story with a battle between him and Selene at the same time Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright were duking it out as always. in the midst of battle Selene had managed to outsmart Helios, she hit his wing elbow with her staff, breaking his wing, and sent him plummeting down into Popstar where he lost consciousness from the impact....

nobody in this image is flying, they're both using outer space's anti-gravity and using their wings to propel themselves through space (even if Helios' wing wasn't broken, he doesn't know how to fly anyway )

something about Selene's ears make me want to squish them cuz they look so floofy
