Description The pattern I used to make my pony plush for the OC contest at my-little-plushie.deviantart.c…
The pony I made with this is here: fav.me/d510gqv
This pattern wouldn't exist if it weren't for because this pattern was based off of their pony pattern which you can find here: fav.me/d4u0t6a

Instructions:
Sew the pieces together by matching the letters together. Example: A goes to A and E1 goes to E1. I find it easier to sew the pieces together at the marks first and sew the spaces in between later.
The number of times the pattern piece should be cut out is on each piece.
When you sew the two body pieces together, the space between G and F is where the tail goes.
The two "Head" pieces should not connect. The "Head 2" piece is supposed to be sewn between them.
Leave the space between L and M open.

EDIT: The adorable miss was nice enough to make a tutorial for my pattern that you can find here: fav.me/d6kljm3

RULES:
* If you use this pattern and upload pictures, PLEASE put the link to your pictures in the comments below. I REALLY want to see the ponies you make with this.
* If you use this pattern, credit me or link back to this page in the description so others can find this. I know it can be a little frustrating when somebody says they made something with a free pattern but doesn't say where they got it from.
* DO NOT claim this pattern to be your own. Stealing is wrong.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I will answer any that you give me concerning the pattern.

I might be able to help with that.Β  I've made a couple of ponies with this pattern which also had wings.

Do you have any fabric recommendations? I've heard of cotton, but I want to make sure I'm getting the right kind of fabric before I purchase any ;o;

I wanted to thank you for posting this pattern. You really saved my neck. My sisters baby shower was today and a week ago i still didn't have a gift ready. The nursery theme is giraffes and i couldn't find a giraffe pattern i liked. I found this one and simply elongated the neck. She loved it. Thank you so much

Okay, so I'm trying to design a puppet, but I just couldn't find to right head structure, and then I saw this pattern. Is it alright if I borrow some element from this pattern's head and use it for my puppet's? In terms of "borrowing element" I needed an "ovally" or squished circle type of look, and after seeing your plush, I thought it would be perfect for my puppet. Also, i might make some adjustments for this puppet, since it isn't a pony (In fact, it's a beaver. A cartoony, Hanna-Barbera, UPA, styled beaver.) such as removing the nose part or something. Keep in mind that this is all experimentation and it might not be the pattern I was looking for. But either way, is it alright if I borrow the plush's head pattern?

Made 3 more for some friends (and a 4th is waiting to be sewn together).Β  I found that sewing the insides of the legs to the belly, then the belly+legs to the sides all at once seems to make things easier (at least for me).Β  Thanks again!

I modified it a fair lot however, hope that's alright.
Looking at the other ponies here, mine looks more...meaty. Ease up on the humans. (Ponies?)
Anyway, thank you again, your pattern's great! I stared at it in confusion for only thirty minutes, which is a new academic record for a dumb slowpoke like me.

I suggest a seam allowance of 1/4-1/2 inch depending on how easily your fabric frays

what do all those random letters mean??!!every one els seems to get it..

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SilentWolfCreations In reply to AceandJet [2014-10-27 01:01:25 +0000 UTC]

To make your plushie, you have to sew the point with the same letters to each other. So any corner that says "A" should be connected to the other corners that say "A" or any that say "E1" connect to the others that say "E1." Unfortunately, I haven't made a tutorial to show you visually but someone else did make one here:Β fav.me/d6kljm3
