These aren't even speed paints anymore. Just sketches. Oh well.I'd imagine it'd be hard for Thorax to control these compulsions all the time.

DS9 was the best series by the way.

I personally preferred TOS and TNG, but I have never seen DS9 or Voyager so I'm not sure my opinion is quite complete. I have seen ST:E though. It didn't last long but it was decent, and I enjoyed the theme song.

DS9 was very similar to Next Gen. to start with, but it had a stronger over-arcing narrative as time went on, and the characters were all really well developed, even the comic-relief type characters got some backstory.
Voyager... wasn't as good, but it was enjoyable, there was a lot of bad science in it and a few characters that were a bit bland, but it had some good stories and characters too.
Enterprise was good, I agree, they managed to make it a "prequel" type series without massively contradicting anything from the original (unlike the new films) and even tied together some inconsistencies between the generations.

Call me a heathen, but I personally like the new Star Trek films. I mostly justify the inconsistencies with the fact that the current film series takes place in a separate timeline as confirmed in the first film.
Gotta say that I wasn't that into ST: Wrath of Khan I MEAN Into Darkness.
Also I would do a story arc where the enterprise gets stolen, then the replacement ship gets a different architect who designs it in the style of the original enterprise. BONUS DUCKS if that architect is played by William Shatner.

I took issue with that at first because of the way time travel has been represented in Star Trek before now (which was more like the ripple effect in Back to the Future) but I just consider it a separate parallel universe now, like the ones Warf zapped between in TNG that time, but I still don't like the new movies.
Also, I think the more difference there is between the old and new the better at this point, it helps separate the two.

So yeah, being named after a body-part is still daft.

I'd say that's more of a descriptive name when it combines an aspect of the person with a defining adjective, like being called "Black Beard" works whereas just being called "Beard" doesn't.
If Thorax had a descriptive element to his name maybe it'd make more sense, like... Study-Thorax... no that's still terrible.

But it makes sense when you think about it. He was born to act as a drone for the Queen. And he looks basically the same as any other given changeling. So it makes sense that he has an incredibly generic name.

For all that we do know, he could have given himself that name. Changelings are unexplored territory. It's all headcanon from this point onward.

Then, help him feed, Spike. Didn't he tell you he was starving? People are not themselves when... *chuckle* Yeah. This one can be stuffed and still not be himself externally.
A talking, thinking and emotional Changeling is something I wished so much to happen. Thorax made me happy about this. Also, now we have new infos about them changelings. It took too long time. I know people find them cute.
Maybe sketches, but mine are far to be as good as yours I can tell you. Damn. This was probably Spike's best episode so far. They better keep it that way.
And bring Thorax back more often than Moondancer.
