If you get caught with the pikachu start fake crying but make it realistic and look away if you can't get tears quickly turn your head make it look like your rubbing the tears away and use a little drool or spit as false tears it will look the same.
It works really well for me!
Start apologizing like mad and say you wanted to play with it but did not want to bother your dad be asking him repeatedly and that might and should work if you played it right... And if you can try to make your voice crack up like you are crying when saying such okay?
