Description
"In my journey to record every magical monster known to man, I discovered an anthill belonging to the mythical myrmeke, a species of giant ants. They are massive and extremely rare (I had to venture all the way to Western Labresia to find them). Luckily for me, they are rarely hostile, unless attacked in which case they are said to be merciless defenders of their home. One interesting characteristic of the myrmeke is that they are plated in gold. I am unsure if this is a natural cause, but it is smooth and free of imperfections. They are a truly splendid species as intimidating as they are up close." -- Verrick

This was inspired by Dungeons and Dragons monsters and I plan to make this into a series of sorts, but I might not. I tried a different method of shading for this one, and I think it definitely paid off. As always, feel free to leave any constructive criticism you have in the comments.
