So here it is, a tutorial on how I use watercolors and inks.

People in my art store kept telling me for years that there was no such thing as waterproof ink. Once I managed to buy it online I went there to prove them wrong.

.... of course there's waterproof ink ¬¬ We sold that; though it was for airplane models/racecar models and mostly for air brush... but you can draw with it XP The plus side of having owned an art shop in the past is that we still have quite some stuff left, but I prefer pencils and markers over paint at the moment, because I'm not that good yet XD

WOW! Impressive tutorial...it's very interesting how you splattered the liquid masking fluid first. I tend to just use white ink after I'm finished with the painting..but that;s somethings new I think I might try.

Nothing is ever as white as the paper itself, that is why I use masking fluid. ^^

Thank you. ^^ I'd love to see you use my favorite medium sometimes. You could always try out watercolor pencils, they are somewhere in between colored pencils and watercolors.

Inks create much, much more intense colors. They are great for really bright images. Look at this for instance: [link]
Here I did the bg with watercoors, but the dress with inks. ^^ So you can see the difference in the intensity.
Plus, naturally, you can use them for linearts. But remember that, at least for Wnsor and Newton inks, only brown and black are waterproof. The rest do bleed if you soak them. But sometimes that can also make sure for nice effects. ^^

I habe die Wasserfarben GEHASST! Aber das ist nur deshalb, weil mir keiner so richtig gezeigt hatte, wie man sie benutzt. Dann habe ich die Tutorials von gesehen, und habe mich endlich getraut, es nochmals zu versuchen. Und jetzt bin ich verliebt.

Ja, die Prüfungen waren vor 2 Wochen oder so. Bei der Kultur-Prüfung hatte ich 100%
Auf die Resultate der Sprach-Prüfung muss ich aber noch ein par Monate warten... -_-;

Na ja, weißt du... Die Computer lesen die Tests und berechnen die Resultate. Deshalb dauert es angeblich so lange. (Was kaum Sinn ergibt, ne? Aber das ist was man uns gesagt hat, as Erklärung für die langen Wartezeiten.)

Ich denke das war's. Ab September fange ich mit einer Ausbildung zur Assistentin für Fremdsprachen an... das war aber meine Wahl.
Jetzt bereitet mir Sorgen nur, ob mein Mann seine Arbeitsstelle behält. Denn falls nicht, dann werde ich höchstwahrscheinlich nicht hier bleiben dürfen.
