Well, I want to thank every Deviant who commented, faved, in particulary who suggested my work ^^
This is the first time I receive so much feedback, it's a real pleasure but in another way it makes me love more than never my first favers, watchers and commentators
But I love you too, don't worry
I also want to precise that this idea was born when I thought about all these kings who have hanged so much innocent people.
So it's not an incitation to Anarchy but Vendetta & Revolution ^^
EditΒ²: For all those who said that crowned people will become kings, be sure that kings who comes from the people, who suffers with him, and thanks to that understands his needs and suffering will certainly leads one hundred times better that all these born-kings.
For all those who will read this comment ( omg I hope I didn't make mistakes ,_, Sorry if I said weird things, I'm not english xD ) I wish you a nice day !

The main problem with this way of thinking is that things turn out badly because it really doesn't solve the real issues and only gets rid of the most popular scape goat.
I think Amuro said it best:"Revolutions are dreamt up by intellectuals but their aims are so unrealistic that they'll stoop to drastic measures. Following the revolution the worthy passions for rebirth are swallowed up bureaucracy and mediocrity. Intellectuals dislike that so they disassociate themselves form society and politic to become recluses."

It's an interesting comment
I think that people have to reappropriate politics. Most of actual leaders are in their places because they like and want power. I'm sure that the fact, just for beginning, to have leaders who lead for people, and who comes from this same people will be a great changement, and not inacessible.
We need people who have suffered to understand the souffrance of people and be a real leader who cares about what a Leader have to care.
This is not impossible, neither utopic. We just need that people believe in changement and stops being afraid by it.
Sorry for my bad english

This is all well and nice, but kind of naive. Crowning the people doesn't work, we've seen that in Russia. There will always be people ruthless enough to exploit the system, and as of now, the system that cannot be exploited is yet to be invented. It's the old "who watches the watchers"-problem.
Besides, people need some kind of leader, otherwise there will never be any kind of meaningful consensus, and the nation stagnates. And where there is a leader, there is power, and as we all know, power corrupts... democracy doesn't work. But it's better than most alternatives.

Silver786 In reply to Saerileth [2011-02-08 13:35:44 +0000 UTC]
You're certainly right, but I believe in an alternative social and political organisation ^^
"Politicians" should never have exist. We need people for and from the people to lead this one, because actual politcians aren't able to feel the suffering of the people that they lead.
It's sure that power can makes the greatest man becomes evil, but we have to hope that hope still exists, and find persons like Gandhi, and all the others wise people who don't search the power, but the liberty, the equality. We have to give the power to this type of persons, and I'm deeply convinced that they still exist.

Saerileth In reply to Silver786 [2011-02-08 21:22:11 +0000 UTC]
You're seeing this a bit black&white. Most politicians start out as young, ideallistic people who want to change the world in some way or another. Then they learn to play the game, get frustrated that they can't change as much as they'd like, are corrupted in some way, or simply become complacant with their station and privileges. And even if they aren't - this is the way democracy works. There are just too many conflicting opinions in a group of individuals this large - how else would you govern them?
Furthermore, it's hard to tell the nice and the wicked apart. People thought Obama was the new Ghandi, and with all his promises there was no way to tell beforehand what he would keep.

ontr: As a monarchist I cannot like it ^^ Though it's very nicely done visually.
ontr: I believe it could've been said much more subtle, but, hey, it's good to express a strong view. Saying "I suppose something could change" wouldn't catch an eye enough.
ontr: I certainly wouldn't think of anything better, I like the title a lot.
And congrats on a DD!

But without dissent we don't have democracy.
In all seriousness, I'm all for it, even though it's a bit of a perilous issue, the dangers of corruption in communism.

yeah, i know.. the people are extremely courageous; even after the terror the government has put them through (police and diplomatic cars driving over people, government-supported mobs and police hitting and shooting people, etc..) they're still on the streets. i really hope no more people have to die in the protests, although i know that hope is naive; and those people out there get all my respect.
as one egyptian journalist, whose paper was banned under the mubarak regime, said while he was giving out the new paper he had started making and distributing in tahrir: i'm not asking for any money for this paper, because the people here have paid with their lives for the freedom of press.

Easier said than done, perhaps a bit too simplistic a solution, but, the message I see in it - a need/question/demand for change - is well heard
π: 0 β©: 1
Silver786 In reply to Hellwolve [2011-02-08 12:00:01 +0000 UTC]
Haha You're right in a certain way, but you know, sometimes the solution doesn't have to be a complex political weird project, but a simple fact
Anyway, it's a metaphore hehe
Thanks a lot for your comment ! ^^

I'm not under the illussion you factually mean the solution to be to kill all kings and queens, that would just be silly But, well, I felt like noting it - there may be people out there who wish or hope it would be that simple
