Building the Wasp ship, in Rhino3D, rendered in Maxwell.Did this a couple of years ago, iirc.
Wasp ship if from Spelljammer, fantasy space setting for Dungeons and Dragons.
In the end, I decided not to use the columns for supporting the railings, but a soild wall instead, so the final model is different, but this illustrates it well.
The advantage of building and designing in 3D is it lets you check what seems practical as well as aesthetic
