Scarlet is part of my new mlp next gen. This one was a randomly generated pairing, I don't ship it but it was quite fun to design

Starlight is a single mother in my next gen, mostly because I can't find a ship I like, but I also don't think her personality meshes well with most other ponies. Being in charge of the School of Friendship takes up most of Starlight's time during the day which leaves very little time for her two daughters, Luster Dawn and Scarlet Magic.

Scarlet is the typical jealous younger sister as Luster is a gifted unicorn who was sent off to Twilight's School for Gifted Unicorns whereas she had to endure bullying for being a hybrid pony without a father. The other kids often teased her about her tail and compared her to her sister, which hurt her feelings.
