Okay, now, in a couple of my drawings I've said that Autumn and Miwa don't get along, get into arguments, and don't listen to each other. Well, here's why!
One of the main reasons is because Autumn is jealous of Miwa's role as leader. Autumn had thought that she would become leader since she was the oldest, the smartest, and had a longer period of training. Even if it was by one year. This jealousy grew bitter and she began to think that Leo doubted her skills, or he was just being biased because Miwa was his daughter. So she felt it was unfair. This leads to her trying to prove that she's a better leader, and distancing herself from her cousin, and even her uncle. She doesn't always listen to Miwa, and is always second guessing Miwa's orders. She'll sometimes suck it up and go through with her plan only because she doesn't want to get chewed out by her parents, but sometimes she'll directly disobey her and do her own thing, thinking it really was the better option.
And it's not just that she's jealous, it's also that the two have always been rivals, often seeing who was better at what, and who had the most skill. The rivalry just got worse as they got older, and Miwa being appointed leader was the tipping point. This also lead to Autumn slightly distancing herself from the team and going off with Gabriella all the time.
And Miwa, she knows that Autumn wanted to be leader, but she doesn't really realize just how much that this put a dent in their relationship. She knows that it's more than just the leader thing, and she's tried to talk to Autumn several times, but she would always turn her away. And Miwa would always let it go and not bother for the time being, knowing that there was no way to get her to listen.
A simple rivalry as kids had escalated and turned these two cousins against eachother. And both are too stubborn to really discuss and settle things.

Well, that's the basis of why the two don't get along.
I've really been enjoying writing these two, their story right now has been my favorite. But I still got a lot of other characters to establish and write! And they're just as fun!
